the aftermath

As I've told you on my last post, this was a huge weekend. Even without all my closest friends in town, Århus rocks by itself!
Fredags bar was ok, but I suppose it is more a danish student thing than a exchange student one... I just hang out with the japanese guys, who are completely out of their minds!
The friday evening and night was nothing special... just another night in Blender where I arrived with Giovanni and Bruno and left alone... (well, I actually left with Tony the DJ but only as far as where my bike was parked).
The saturday sounded more promising. And, boy, it sure was! Beside being the day of the Traffic Lights party, it was when I had a 'date' with Ronnie. After many days talking warmly about various things from how Julie is a great bitch in The OC to playing badminton, we finally met. It was in Under Masken, one of my favourite bars here, and we just spend a couple of hours talking about everything imaginable! We got along straight away...
But I had that party and he had a party at his friend's place, so we promised to meet some other day again.
I arrived to the party at 23:00, which I discovered to be quite early. But soon the ISC was full and boiling!! Not everyone respected the colours policy, but it was funny to see people in red and think 'She's taken...'
Ana, the only portuguese girl who I know in Århus was working as a volunteer benhind the bar, so we chatted for a while planning the soon-to-come Portuguese dinner at E.A.T. (Exchange at the Table - a thing they have here at the ISC where each week a group of international students cooks typical food from their countries). Ana is really nice! I recently discovered that one of her teachers back in Portugal is friends with my aunt... :P
The party was ok, but I just couldn't stop thinking about Ronnie and what he was doing then... needless to say, we spent the night exchanging text messages... We ended up meeting later on and the rest of the night was amazing ;)
Today I went to see a professional basketball game with some other Erasmus (Ana, Zsophia, Robyn, Jenny,...) so I haven't had too much sleep... Jeg skal går i seng nu...

Sorry if the post is too long, but you're always asking for news so I had to be thorough!
Vi ses ;)
