I'm back from the danish capital!
First impressions:
*there are portuguese people in DK after all... but they're all in Copenhagen!!
*CPH is even more expensive than Aarhus, but we all knew that already...
*the Danes are nice and friendly everywhere and anytime
*you can visit all the famous spots in CPH in one entire day: it's a small capital
*The Little Mermaid is harrassed 24/7 by Japanese tourists
*Christiana is the most amazing and interesting place I've been in the last few years (and the only place where you can buy hash legaly)
*In Denmark, ferry-boats are really big and comfy! In Portugal, a danish ferry would be a luxury cruiser...
*water-pipes are really cool! it's very sweet-flavoured...
*I met an Icelandic guy who lives in Malmoe (Sweden) and works in Copenhagen: apparently that's common. And very fashionable, should I say: to live in one country and work in another...
*I saw for the first time a drunk dane riding a bike, and it's hilarious!
*Like my Matrizes Culturais Europeais II's teacher told us, all European cities do indeed have an obelisk! CPH has at least 2!!
I'll post some of the photos I've taken tomorrow or so... And a more extended description of my weekend in CPH and my first 'coming out' to someone in danish ground... ;)
Stay tuned.
