exams

I haven't posted for a while, but that's because I've entered my exams period. I've already done my first one-week paper, but on tuesday I'll get another one.

Besides, everyone is studying or doing papers, so the dinners, parties and soforth are in standby for some weeks... it is a shame though that it is NOW, cause in a week time, 95% of the people are going back home for good. Some will return in January for exams, but few we'll stay here until June. I'm one of them! I've asked to extend my stay to the 2nd semester and it has been accepted, so the Danes will have to stand me some more months! ;)

At first I wasn't sure I wanted to stay here longer. I love the place and the last 5 months have been one of the best experiences in my life, but I was afraid of all I'm missing in Portugal, and to have to stay even longer away from my friends and family. But this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it will be worth it by June, I bet. New students will arrive, new courses to take, new places to go... From my friends here, only Ági, Marco and Mike are staying here the 2nd semester. But I'm sure I'll meet a lot of new people and have an amazing time with these ones I already know.

I'll leave Aarhus on the 19th, staying in Hamburg one day and then catching my flight to Porto, where I will stay until January 13th. It will be great to spend Christmas with my family and see all my friends again!
