Yesterday I went to Skagen and Grenen in a trip organized by the ISC.
We left Aarhus in the morning and got back around 22:00. In between we walked on the rain to see a buried church; spent 2 hours in Skagens Museum (portraits and realism is really not my thing); put my feet on the beach for the first time in 8 months and reached the northern point in Denmark; and climbed the desert dunes of Råbjerg Mile.
As soon as I stepped onto the beach I felt this inner light... I was never so happy in my life... feeling the sand, seeing the waves coming, the sound of their breaking on the beach... I never realised the sea had such an impact on me. I miss the beach!! At Råbjerg Mile, the total solitude of the place made me feel good and peaceful. It was a very soothing day.
In our trip group, there were these crazy guys from Nicaragua that spent the whole day singing 'Guantanamo', 'La Bamba' and such alike... Exhausting day! But totally worth it!!
The photos, as usual, are in my Yahoo!Photos...
