Just came from the cinema - I went to see Borat - Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazahkstan.
I can say that it is the funniest movie I've seen in quite a while. I had heard a lot about it, but I never thought it would be so outrageously funny and sarcastic towards Americans (the redneck's America anyway).
I haven't laughed so hard in so many scenes during a sinlge movie - the naked fight in the hotel! the bear in the ice-cream van! the jewish Bed&Breakfast! the rodeo! the Pentecostal church! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!
Love Sacha Baron Cohen and how devotedly he is to the characters he creates. Rumour has it, his next cinema outing is Bruno - the Austrian gay fashion reporter. Here is a clip from Da Ali G Show.
