reflections on 2006

Inspired by Iason's blog, I decided to list the best things that happened to me this year that has just left us.

• prolonged my Erasmus programme in Aarhus until June 2006;
• learnt to love the Danish culture;
• learnt enough Danish to understand a whole movie in French with subtitles in Danish;
• travelled around Europe (Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Oslo, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam);
• finished my degree (in European Studies);
• started to practice swimming regularly again;
• made new friends and strengthened the bond with the old ones;
• went to the Roskilde Festival 2006 and saw live Scissor Sisters, Sigur Rós, Rufus Wainwright, Editors, Bob Dylan, and had hella fun!
  
• saw Snow Patrol live in Hamburg;
• gained my financial independence from my parents (though temporary).
