Mortens Aften
Morten Bisp (Saint Martin) was a French bishop in the year 397 who actually didn’t want to be a bishop. He tried to escape by hiding among a herd of geese but the geese made a loud noise and revealed his presence. Therefore he was forced to accept being a bishop. As his revenge, Morten Bisp declared that every year on November 10 everybody should have duck or goose for dinner and therefore this evening was named Mortens Aften (Saint Martin’s Eve).

It's the Salsa Party at ISC where you can show your best salsa moves. There will be a live salsa band so you can dance the night away to the sensual Latin rythms.

After sailing all the way to Århus, Santa Claus arrives by boat to provide the merry old spirit of Christmas, when the city's shops will stay open until midnight. From the harbour, Santa Claus and a large Christmas parade will pass through the streets of the city. Santa's little helpers, driving along in fire engines and vintage cars and playing in musical bands, will hand out Christmas sweets for the children. The finest Christmas lighting in Northern Europe with a sparkling starry sky of half a million pin-points of starlight, stretching all along Århus' pedestrianised high street, will be lit when Santa parades through town.

Trip to Skagen and Aalborg (in the North of Denmark) with Ela, Anya and Ági. Looking forward to it as I don't go in a trip for a long time. And everyone says Aalborg is exciting and Skagen very beautiful (it's where the West sea meets the East sea).
