For those who are not familiarized with the concept 'Tour de Chambre' it is kind of a party you have when you live in a student hall so everyone gets to know their fellow floormates and their rooms. Each room needs to have a theme and to serve a specific drink. There were 12 rooms participating in my Tour de Chambre, which means a lot of alcohol!! :p
It began with a dinner cooked by some (the rest would do the dishes) and some board game playing. After then we started with the rooms... each one was more original than the one before (there was New Year's Eve; Xmas; Children's Birthday Party; Scotland; Tom Selleck (yes!); Beach (two of them, one was mine ;)); Winnie the Pooh (Frank's room, who is a real 'macho')... It was so much fun! We would dance and drink in each room (my Sex On The Beach cocktail made quite an impression), do some weird games Katrine and Peter came up with, sing and play the guitar... and all this with everyone quite drunk! We ended up dancing to 'Last Christmas' in the kitchen by candlelight, and finally we headed to the kollegium's bar where the night ended quite well... the next morning was a different story, of course (headaches, hangovers and a lot of dirty dishes to wash!).
But it was so much fun! We got to know each other much better, and it helped to break the ice. I just wished it was more often. Sadly it is a annual thing...
