This weekend I was feeling with a terribly desire to socialize. Not exactly to go out and get drunk, but just to be around people, to talk (ok, maybe to flirt too).
I was going to have Mike's birthday on saturday, but the urge was so big that I needed to go out on friday.
The problem was I didn't have anyone to go with. My usual partners-in-crime are either not in Cph for the time being, or they didn't feel like going out. So I decided to stay home and revenge myself at Mike's party.
The thing is, I actually ended up with a small hangover on saturday morning because my flatmate had some friends over and she invited me to drink some beers with them. Too many beers and some shots followed.
Last night I arrived at Mike's party around 20:00 and we didn't stop drinking until he went home (around 4:00). I almost lost my voice because of the number of cold drinks I drank.
The alcohol was ridiculously cheap, the place was cozy (the basement of some student residence) and the crowd was top notch. It was a 2 in 1 birthday party: both Mike and Søren (a friend of his from work) were celebrating.
I learned how to play some drinking game with dice (Danes love drinking games), worked behind the bar for a while with Iason (we had a great laugh doing it!), and had a quarrel with Daniel and Iason because of my/their Danish. And I even had time to put my awful flirting skills into practice (pita bread will never be the same!)
I didn't get dead drunk, just enough to loosen my tongue and be shameless... which apparently was a crowd-pleaser! I was even asked to strip... (which I didn't, by the way)
I can hardly wait for the next get-together ;)
